This Casa de Sabicos is a field blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Alfrocheiro grapes, from vineyards with red chalky soils.

The grapes are harvested at night in the family's vineyards and fermented in temperature-controlled conical steel vats.

​

Without any aging in wood, it is a wine with a very special profile, with the exuberance of the red fruits of the Alfrocheiro and the vegetal and spicy notes of the Cabernet Sauvignon very well blended with an enormous balance.

The original watercolor on the label, by Graça Santana Ramalho, represents a stylization of an Alentejo cottage house, where the simple austerity and, at the same time, open and inviting connection to the land reigns.
