Alcatruz is a wine with a traditional Alentejo profile. It is a blend of Trincadeira 35%), Aragonez (35%), Castelão (10%), Alfrocheiro (10%) and Touriga Nacional (10%) grapes, harvested during the night in vineyards with red chalky soils.
The grapes are jointly fermented in conic steel vats with temperature control.
The label of Alcatruz is the only of the Casa de Sabicos wine portfolio that has a watercolour painted not by the producer, Graça, but by her grandson Vasco, when he was only 3 years old.
Aroma: Very fruity, fresh.
Taste: Fruity, balanced with acidity.
